Endurance電動皮卡與特斯拉Cybertruck最大的分歧不是外型，而是研發的初衷，研發團隊打造的Endurance電動皮卡能讓一般民眾消費得起，而不像特斯拉高高在上；研發團隊強調，Endurance電動皮卡的奢華與舒適配備糟透了，然則這輛車擁有防彈車般堅韌耐用，主要販售對象是工作需求或商用車隊，因此實用與價錢才是研發隊地點乎的。

Lordstown Motors是一家很低調的新創公司，以往新創公司只要稍有研發進度，就會大張旗鼓發布引發更多投資者砸錢，可是Lordstown Motors卻是默默研發，雖然研發進程照舊有些許資訊公然，最少這家新創公司是玩真的，而Endurance電動皮卡就是最好的證實。
